Brasil wins CONMEBOL South American U-17 Women's Championship
Colombia loses to Brazil in the final
Brazil defeated Colombia 1-0 to win the CONMEBOL South American U-17 Women's Championship on Saturday.
The match was played at the Estadio Arsenio Erico in Asunción, Paraguay. Brazil took the lead in the 35th minute through a goal from Nycole Raysla. Colombia pushed for an equalizer in the second half, but Brazil held on to win the match and the tournament.
This is Brazil's second title in the CONMEBOL South American U-17 Women's Championship. They previously won the tournament in 2018.
Colombia finished the tournament in second place. They will now compete in the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup, which will be held in India from October 11 to 30.
